About Income tax return file




During one year every turnover trough your business will be submitted in income tax return file.
Benefits bellow 60 yr is 2.5 lacks and above 60 yr is 3 lacks while above 80 citizens till 5 lacks will free.
If your income is more than 5 lacks you should submit income tax e filing.

How to submit Income tax return file

I am describing simple method to submit Income tax return file bellow.

1)    The process to submit Income tax return file is called “e-filing”
2)    You should collect your necessary documents before going online.
3)    Go to the government web portal “ incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in”.
4)    It is total free of cost.
5)    First of all you should make an account on the income tax website. Here you need your pan no and date of birth. Your pan no will be your user name.
6)    You can submit income tax by two ways.
a)     Go to income tax website and click the download section which is far you then complete the form and generate xml file after that again go to the website and click the “upload xml file”.
b)    One quick idea is here to submit Income tax return file- Go to e-file section and login. Complete the assessment year file you have to complete and submit.

Be care in the change of Income tax return file


You should be careful to selecting form according to your income.


1)    You should select “ITR-1” if you have individual salary, property income or other resources (besides of lottery).
2)    Whose income is till 50 lacks should fill the form “ITE-2”.
3)    Whose income is less than 50 lacks should fill the form “ITE-2”.

Necessary documents to submit income tax

a)     Pan no.
b)    Form-16.
c)     Income through your bank balance.
d)    Detail related to TDS.
e)     Home loan and insurance related documents.

You may download form “ 26A” which will show your tax statements.

Using Digital Signature to submit income tax


1)    If you use digital signature to submit income tax there will generate acknowledgement number.
2)    If you submit your income tax without digital signature there will ITR-V will be generated which will go to your registered e-mail-id.
3)    ITR-V is a type of receipt using to submit conformation.
4)    After getting ITR-V you should be sending to Bangalore office within 120 days.  Address will be at the end of this form.


5)    If you do not able to send your ITR-V. Your income tax submission will be uncompleted.

Verification through net banking


You can verify through e-verify return option at the tax payer’s website. Using this method there is no need to verify ITR-V.
